- This study was carried out to determine the effect of rations contained % 1 Mazıdağı phosphate concentrate on performance of broilers.

A total of 250 broiler chicks were used. There was a control and four treatment groups, each contains 50 chicks. Period of study was 5 weeks.

Ingredients of the rations given to control, first, second, third and fourth experimental groups were dicalcium phosphate, phosphate concentrate from mazıdağı heat treated phosphate concentrate at 1100 º C, phosphate concentrate which were treated with 10 % H2 SO4 and subsequently were dried, 1 % calcium carbonate containing phosphate concentrate which were treated as in previous group, respectively.

There were significant differences among the groups in live weight and live weight gain at the end of study (P< 0.01). The group fed with rations 1 % mazıdağı phosphate concentrate (the treatment 10 % H2SO4 and dried) improved live weight and live weight gain than the other groups at 35 th day of studied period.

It was concluded that, mazıdağı phosphate concentrate can used to be calcium and phosphorus source at broiler ration. Keywords : Mazıdağı phosphate concentrates, broiler, live weight, feed efficiency
