Comparison of Various Production Traits on Angora Goats kids at two different genotype

- t was found that fertilities of the bucks possessing American-Angora Goat blood in its genotype and local Angora Goat bucks were 90.0 and 87.5 % respectively, and survival rate of offsprings was 86.11 %. The birth weights of these offsprings in the live weight groups of 1 st, 3 td, 6 th and 12 th months were determined 2.965 and 2.947 kg, 9.441 and 9.669 kg 19.228 and 19.647 kg, 21.819 and 20.853 kg, 24.097 and 23.542 kg, respectively. Where as the mohair proportion at first cutting such as the yield, fibre diameter lenght and ondulation were 1.505 and 1.706 kg, 27.624 and 28.080 micron, 14.050 and 13.460 cm, 3.024 and 3.187 respectively.
