Effect of birth weight and live weight on mohair yield and quality in Angora goats

- İn this study 114 male kids and l24 female Kjds were usd, as material. The Kjds weighid in birth, 1 month, 3 month, 6 month, 1 year, 2 year and 3 year age. The production result are follow. The liwe weight of males were 2.4, 6.6, 11.5, 21.7, 24.1, 37.5 and 50.8 kg respectively. The live weights of female were 2.1, 5.9, 9.8, 17.6, 19.1, 27.2 and 32.9 kg respectively. The finest of mohair and yield of mohair were analysed for 1. 2. and 3. age on Angora goats.The yield of mohair of male groups were 1.62, 2.98 and 3.13 kg, female groups were 1.42, 2.55 and 2.69 kg respectively. The finest of mohair of male groups 30.03, 32.34 and 34.72 micron, female groups 30.10, 31.34 and 34.21 micron respectively.

As result it was observed that there were a positive interaction between the live weight and the mohair yield there was no significance between the live weight and the mohair characteristics. Keywords :
