The Evaluation of Different Feeding Methods With Regard to Milk Urea Nitrogene and Milk Composition in Dairy Cattles

With this aim, milk samples obtained from three different dairy enterprise which has different nutrition method (manual preparation of concentrate by using own breaking-mixing machine [Enterprise I], obtaining concentrate form a feed factory [Enterprise II] and using total mixed ration-TMR [Enterprise III]) were analyzed for MUN. There were no significant difference between enterprises for dry matter (DM) and fat-free DM values in milk samples. Enterprise II had significantly higher crude fat (CF) than Enterprise I (P<0.05). However, no difference were detected for CF between Enterprise III and II, and between Enterprise III and I. Milk crude protein (HP) levels were also not affected by nutrition method. The highest MUN levels were detected in milk samples obtained from Enterprise III used TMR (P<0.05) and no difference were observed between Enterprise I and II.
