An investigation about heritability of face covering among the Angora goats
One year old male and female Angora goats has been maintained on the Lalahan Animal Breeding Experiment Farm as a material. Based on 271 paternal off spring, heritability of face covering obtained by the method of paternal half sib analysis of off spring of (15) bucks.
As a result, heritability of face covering among the angora goats is 0.376 ± 0.051. This figure indicates that face covering heritability is high among the Angora goats.
