¹ Dr. Vet. Hekim Lalahan Zootekni Arastırma Enstitüsü Lalahan/Ankara - Whey is a very source of protein, lactose and some minerals. it is used in animal nutrition as follows.

1- By giving the animals to drink directly,
2- By adding dried whey to the ration,
3- As an additive in uneasily silaged food stuff.
