- This study was conducted to determine the effect of different level of ration crude protein on fattening performance of domestic goslings in Kars region. Total 45 daily goslings were divided into 3 groups and all groups fed with the ration included 22 % crude protein and 2900 kcal/kg ME for starting period (0 to 6 weeks) and with rations 15 % (Group I), 17.5 % (Group II) and 20 % (Group III) crude protein and 3000 kcal/kg ME for growth period (7- to 12 weeks). Final live weights in Group I, Group II and Group III were recorded as 3880, 3909 and 3979 g respectively. Cumulative feed consumption and feed conversion ratio were recorded as 16.49, 16.01 and 16.61 kg and 5.28, 5.04 ve 4.99 kg/kg in groups respectively. Carcass dressing percentages of in groups were recorded as 64.31, 65.29 and 64.97 % respectively. Increasing level of crude protein in the ration did not effect daily live weight gaining.
