Nutrition of Partridges

There are numerous species of partridges around the world of both the wild and domesticated kinds. The amount of published work on partridge nutrition is much less than for poultry. For this reason, growers have adapted nutrient and environmental requirements used for pheasant and other domestic birds. The partridges kept for meat production are fed differently than bird saved for egg production, breeding and hunting.
