- İn this study, the phenotypic correlation coefficients were estimated among body weight, body length, breast width, shank length, cold carcass weight, breast and leg meat weights and lengths of some bones in the carcass.

İt was observed that the correlations were high and significant among the lenghts of leg and breast bones and body weight (0.45 - 0.60); body length (0.46- 0.50); breast width (0.19-0.27) and shank length (0.24-0.55). İt was determined correlation coefficients with middle levels between lengths of bones in the wings and body weight (0.17-0.49), body length (0.020-0.24). The correlation coefficient between breast width and shank Iength was not significant.

İn general, correlation coefficients among cold carcass weight, breast and leg meat weights and lengths of bones were possitive and significant correlation coefficients estimated for the lengths of bones in the legs and breast were especially found very high. Keywords :
