- The aim of the presented study was to investigate the effects of different superovulation programs on the superovulation results for Anatolian Black cows responding to superovulation applications in low rate. In this study, 24 Anatolian Black cows were randomly divided into four groups, each group was subjected to a different superovulation protocol. As regards the determined CL numbers, there was not effectiveness of different superovulation protocols (P>0.05). The protocol without exogenous progesterone application resulted in higher rate of unfertilized oocytes UFO (%43.8), compared to other protocols (P<0.01). FSH application in low doses gave the high embryo yield (%72.7) in comparison to the other protocols (P<0.001). As a result it was observed that the superovulation responses were not at adequate level despite the different superovulation protocols applied in Anatolian native black heifers.
