Mehmet ALİBAŞOĞLU ,Adnan ÖZKOCA

- Semen characters of three infertilite bulls were studied in the respect of motility, volume, sperm density and morphologically abnormal sperm cells. Semen quailty could not corrected and bulls was salughtered. Results which are obtained from pathological exaimnation of testes and epididymis are as follows;

Physical apperance, volume and sperm density of semen which is obtained from three different bulls is normal. The percentage of morphologically abnormal sperm cells is high except the bull Pamuk. Also motility of the bull Artos semen is zero and insemination of the cows with this semen did not produce pregnancy. Semen motility of the other two bulls was evaluated as poor.

Histological examination of the testes and epididymis showed mild degeneration. Similar results was obtained by the other workers on that point.

Consequently; we can say, one of the cause of reduction of fertility in a bulls is testes degeneration. Keywords :
