A study on the some properties of Kıvırcık`s wool in Marmara region and Inanlı – Türkgeldi Government Farms

- Some part of Kıvırcık`s wool can be used for Worsted Manufacturing. This study has been made to determine some properties of Kıvırcık`s wool raised in Marmara Region and also İnanlı and Türkgeldi Goverment farms. Last study was about Thrace (Trakya) region.

Wool samples have been taken from fully growth Kıvırcık ewes of various ages owned by the people in the provinces of İzmit, Balıkesir and Bursa. 100 and 38 head of sheep have been sampled in each provinces and Goverment Farms respectively. Keywords :
