Studies on the kinds of medullated wool fibres and their distribution on the body of Karayaka sheep which were bred in Karaköy Hara

Kamuran ÖZNACAR

- I have done this study for to determine the kinds of medullated wool fibres and their distributions on the body of three years old `Karayaka` sheep which were bred in Karaköy Hara on the Narthern coast of Turkey.

As a result, it has been understood that the Karayaka wools are not preferable for the textile industry due to having large medullated fibres. These kinds of wools only be use for the caepet industry. Keywords :
