A comparative study on the fineness degree, the percentage of kempy and medullated fibres of the Turkish Mohairs and their stuations in important Angora Goat Breeding Districts

- This study has been done in order to determine the fineness degree, percentage of kempy and medullated fibres of the Turkish Mohair, and their positions on the shoulder, side, thigh and also coefficients of correlation between fibre diameters and percentage of kempy and medullated fibres.

All of the samples had taken from important provinces and their villages, where the Angora goat breeding comes first. These provinces are Çankırı, Kastamonu, Çorum, Yozgat, Beypazarı, Bolu and Eskişehir. 1050 samples were examined at the lab. Keywords :
