- The aim of the present research was to investigate the relationships among udder types and milk colour and electrical conductivity in Anatolian Merino sheep. The research material was constituted from the data of a total of 46 Anatolian Merino ewes at first lactation in Altınova State Farm, in Central Anatolia. Electrical conductivity of milk samples was determined by electrical conductivity probe and milk colour was determined by Minolta Chroma CR-200 in Laboratory of department of Animal Science, Agricultural Faculty of Selçuk University. The data were analyzed according to repeated measurements design. The mean of electrical conductivity was found 4.42 mS/cm, and L*, a*, b*, Hue and Chroma colour parameters were 81.25, -3.62, 7.04, 62.46 and 7.94, respectively. In conclusion, the relationships among udder types and milk colour and electrical conductivity were not significant in Anatolian Merino ewes at first lactation.
