The relationship between finest of the Karakul ewes wool fibers and crule conformation of the new born Karakul lambs

- The curl of Karakul lamb has an inheriditery character which is developed under the different factors.

One of the these factors is the finesse of wool.

The relationship between mother`s wool finesse and their lambs curl formation was the subject of this study.

In fine wooled ewes (over than 50 S) lambs, the percentage of valueable curls were in low. Same results had been obtained with the strong wooled ewes lambs.

For the breeding purposes the ewes wich their. Wool qualities are 40 S and 48 S should be prefered from the stand point of valuable curl. Keywords :
